BURN Fitness 101: “Give up 3%” and Change Your Life Forever?

How much is 3%? Not much right? Hardly noticeable! The crumbs at the bottom of the bag, the interest you earn on you savings account, the “cash discount” at the gas pump, the difference on your restaurant tab between decent and excellent service!
3% is nothing earth-shattering. 3% isn’t going to change your life!
Well… guess what? 3% can ABSOLUTELY change your life, but most people just can’t seem to find 3% of their weekly routine to MAKE that life change. 3% is WAY too much! 3% is virtually impossible! 3% is “obsessive”.
What insurmountable task is this 3% impossibility that most people JUST CAN’T DO?
5 hours per week of exercise…
There are 24 hours in every day, and 7 in a week. 24hrs X 7 days is 168 hours in a week. 5 HOURS (a huge amount of exercise time)… Is exactly 2.976% of your life! But to MOST of us… 5 hours per week is TOO MUCH!! We don’t have time to work out! We’re WAY too busy!
Bull Shit.
A typical hour at BURN Fitness Training is going to result in:
- 20 minutes of HIIT, 10 minutes of warm-up/cool-down
- 30 minutes of Circuit Strength Training
- 600-1000 kcal per session burned
- Added strength, fat lost, lean muscle gained, improved function, flexibility, endurance, stamina, reduced blood pressure, improved cholesterol, insulin/sugar control, stress reduction, confidence, self-esteem, age-defiance… LIFE CHANGE.
If you burn 750kcal per hour workout, and do that 5 days per week, 50 weeks per year, you’ll burn enough calories to drop over 50lb of body-fat through exercise alone… without changing your diet one bit. You don’t have to do 5 training sessions per week… Most of our clients do 2-3 sessions per week. But the clients who take it outside of the studio, and exercise 5 times per week, for 45-60 minutes… the results are amazing!
Even 3 hours per week can result in smaller, but visible changes, but 5 is a magic number.
